Well, it's finally happened. Almost three years have passed since I've released anything playable for Mana Conquest: Vengeance. Three long years with practically no updates, as the fan populace (if there is one) waited with baited breath for something to sink their teeth into. Well for those people waiting for it, (and to you reading this too) I have something! It is long overdue, but today I bring to you, the newest demo release! Rather than bombard you with a list of all the newest features and changes, I will just suggest that you check out the new features on the features page, and fetch the download link off the downloads page, and fire up your rm2k3. If you have any font related glitches, the download contains a .zip archive to help remedy them, simply extract it and follow the instructions in the readme. If you find any bugs or crashes, or missing files, or game lockups, feel free to send me an email outlining the bug(s), where you found them, and any other pertinent information. As usual, there will probably be an updated download in a few days, once someone (other than me) plays it and sends me a report. I apologize for the lack of updates, truth is I'm not as active on this project as I'd like to be... Perhaps due to the lack of new content in this demo, I will release a third demo much farther into the development. I'll keep you posted on any developments in that regard. Thanks for the continued support. Edit: A game crash has been found in the Meridia Castle events. When approaching the western door, towards the throne room, from the eastern wing, if you are not standing in line with the door, or are below the door, the game will freeze. I have released a patch for those people who have already downloaded the demo, it can be found here. The main demo archive has been updated to include the fixed file, if you have not downloaded it yet, you do not need the patch. If you have already passed this part of the demo (IE: you have Hanna in the party) then you do not need this patch either. ~Ramza |
